The turkeys
Every time the is a hint of avian flu' we get so many requests to take in peoples chickens but never turkeys, perhaps people don't relate the two! We do have however two gorgeous Norfolk Turkeys who live free at the farm. They share with the ducks, preferring their company to any of the other poultry down here.
Funny little things are Turkey
So let's meet Humphfrey
We believe Humprey is a Narragansett turkey, which is a rare breed turkey! If you know anything about this breed please e-mail us we would like to know for sure.
You can meet Humphrey at a lot of our fund-raising events
Meet Walter and Geoffrey our two
Norfolk Bronze Turkey
Came to us and have roamed our field for the past eight years sadly their friends have dwindled, (possibly due to the fox bless him!) but they all had freedom and a place to call home.
Geoffrey past away 2009 RIP little man.
They are not the easiest to photograph but more will follow if they stand still long enough.
Sadly Walter passed away 2010, very much missed by us all at NANNA's and by visitors :(
RIP Old boy you would have made nine Christmas this year xxx
