Cockerels seem to have a very short life, they are either killed as day old chicks or they end up dead very soon in their lives, but some end up in rescue and we at Higglety Pigglety Farm Rescue (NANNA) have quite a few!
Some have been slung over the fence, others arrive in cardboard boxes or cat carriers, but they all arrive because of the same thing..................... their noise!

He keeps a close eye on all that is going on around his coop and gets all ruffled if any other cockerel comes to close to him
